DJ Swerve is back with another huge grime anthem ‘Comeback Riddim’ featuring OGz (P Money, Little Dee & Blacks) released 16.04.2012.
After a series of successful collaborations in the last two years with influential MC and man of the moment P Money on ‘Ho! Riddim’ as well as the intense vocals of Blacks on ‘Just Rewind’, DJ Swerve is set to enter the fray once again with 2012’s instalment in the form of Comeback Riddim.
Comeback Riddim is set for release in April 2012 on Speakerbox and will also be featured on the compilation ‘MistaJam presents Speakerbox Playlist Volume 1″ Keep an eye on Music Week over the next couple of weeks to find out more about this exciting new project.
Raw, unrefined and intuitive verses from Blacks, P Money and Little Dee as well as a typically bass heavy instrumental from DJ Swerve ensure there’s big energy from the off, and steel-covered bars from all three MC’s promise Comeback Riddim to be a sure fire hit. Destined for a large amount of radio play, and already having been debuted on Logan Samas distinguished Kiss 100 show and played (and reloaded) by Mistajam on 1xtra, the signs are there to suggest that this could be the single that fires Swerve and OGz full throttle into the mainstream.
With an unsurprisingly slick video set to go up this month featuring cameos from Plastician and Marco Del Horno amongst others, Comeback Riddim has the whole package and positions itself as comfortably on the dancefloor as it would in the charts. Having already played a large part in the development of UK Bass music we can’t wait to see what’s next from Swerve and with OGz the artists on everyone’s lips at the moment 2012 looks as though it’s going to be a year to remember for this south London collaboration.
